At EDM, we believe education works best when it flows in every direction. Teachers empower children. Children inspire parents. Parents support teachers. It’s a cycle built on mutual respect, trust, and shared purpose.

Meet the Educators Behind EDM
Founder & Lead Educator
Ms. Lissette
As a child, Ms. Lissette was diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia. Rather than turning to medication, her parents found her a tutor who helped her understand her own learning style and develop strategies that worked for her.
That experience shaped everything. Today, she brings that same understanding to every child she works with — observing each child at their own pace, using their interests as the entry point for deeper learning.
She founded EDM to turn those hard-won lessons into something families could rely on, and to build a better path for every child who finds their way here.
Educator & Montessori Specialist
Ms. Renee
Montessori-certified with 10+ years in classrooms. Specializes in Spanish, geography, and cultural studies. Incorporates Capoeira and physical expression into learning.
Yoga & Art Therapy Team
Ms. Patricia & Ms. Jackie
The heart of EDM’s wellness programming. Patricia brings visual arts and Montessori philosophy; Jackie brings specialized yoga for children. Together: physical health, emotional well-being, and imagination.
Math, Science & Healing
Ms. Muhil
Personalized 1-on-1 math and science tutoring across all grade levels. Also brings somatic resonance healing — supporting children and parents through stress, emotional regulation, and the mind-body connection.
Holistic Speech & Language Therapy
Ms. Isabelle
Founder of 24 Carrots Therapy and a Master’s-level Speech-Language Pathologist. Specializes in speech, language, fluency, AAC, executive functioning, apraxia, and social skills — with a neurodiversity-affirming, whole-body approach that considers nutrition, movement, and sensory needs.
